Have you seen Florida's venomous creatures?
Come to the farm, Saturday, September 19th, 9 AM - 12 PM for Volunteer Work Day & an educational Farm Talk on venomous creatures in our area to include snakes & insects. The objective is to help identify both dangerous and beneficial species, why they are here and what we can do to mitigate potential problems.
This is a great event for kids and teens. Bring a picnic lunch to enjoy after.
Meet George & Faith Barbour
George & Faith Barbour have been enjoying nature photography for the past 40 years. They have completed the Florida Master Naturalist Program through University of Florida and are members of the NE Florida Native Plant Society, Ixia Chapter. George & Faith volunteer with the Florida Forest Service with projects to include species identification and location.
